I would say my love for aviation started in 1981 at a visit to the U.S. Air Force Academy. My family visited my Grandma and Aunt who lived in Colorado Springs CO at the time and my aunt was dating a cadet. He showed us around the academy and it I got to see some airplanes up close and personal. It was at that point that my parents said that I told them I was going to be a pilot.
My love for aviation grew with me as I got older. When I was in High School, I got started with the Civil Air Patrol in 1994. I had two awesome years learning about leadership, aviation, and search & rescue. I had some awesome experiences ranging from my first flight in a GA airplane, a Maule Rocket and some fun time in N9669X, a Cessna 182. I even got to fly in a B-17 from Salt Lake City UT to Grand Junction CO. In this season, I got to touch my dream and solidify the goal to fly in the USAF.

I am blessed to have served our great country and fly F-15E Strike Eagles in the USAF. I flew in the 334FS Eagles, 335FS Chiefs and 333FS Lancers. I was fortunate to deploy in 2004 and 2005 with the Chiefs in support of Operations Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom, logging 52 combat mission over Iraq and Afghanistan contributing to a record breaking deployment with 100% bombs on target on time! WAMPUM!
Today my love for flying and aviation is stronger than ever! I really enjoy instructing and helping people grow their own love for the skies. Whether you are brand new and we’re going on a discovery flight or if you are a seasoned aviator and we’re flying your flight review, know that I am living my dream and will be giving you my best effort.
